Virtual and In-person Services

01.

I offer individual psychotherapy for adolescents and adults, ages 14+. The initial appointment will be an intake to look at what is bringing you in for therapy and get an idea of which direction we might go in our work together. For some, the intake process may take several sessions. I provide both in-person and virtual options and use HIPAA compliant telehealth software.

02.

I worked with teens and their parents at the intensive outpatient level of care for over 5 years and firmly believe that the best approach in supporting therapeutic changes involves the entire family system. I offer parent coaching for parents who are looking to better support their teen that is currently receiving their own mental health treatment and also work with multiple members or whole families.

I also provide supportive couples therapy utilizing skills from DBT and trauma-based approaches. I am trained in Cognitive Behavioral Conjoint Therapy for PTSD (CBCT for PTSD) for couples where one or both persons are diagnosed with PTSD.

03.

Group has some benefits that individual therapy does not, in that it allows you to connect with others in a therapeutic setting for mutual support and to see that you are not alone in your journey. I ask that potential group members attend 1-2 individual intake sessions with me to assess your needs, history, and treatment goals to make sure the group is a good fit. This time will also be used to orient you to the basics of the treatment model and prepare you for entering into the group.
